SUMMARY

This is a four month minimum volunteer post, overseeing the safety of BCEC's expedition diving activities and training of non-divers to allow participation in marine conservation surveys. The successful candidate will be working closely with project partners and representing Blue Caribbean and to continue to develop and educate communities about conservation.​

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS​

• An internationally recognized teaching qualification

• At least two years of teaching experience

• Current First Aid Qualifications

• Must have good communication and organization skills

• Computer Literate

• Must be a highly creative and motivated team player

• Professionalism and Work Ethic

• Positive Attitude and Energy

• **Scuba diving certification, minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) or Equivalent Tropical 
  **If you are not scuba certified it's included with the expedition fees if needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES​

* Working with local project partners to develop/maintain schools and education work for the site and to enhance
  volunteers involvement

* Assistance in teaching skills development program where skills allow

* Enforcing policies on expedition safety on site

* Submission of regular reports to Expedition Leader  and project counterparts
